Another 161 points evaporated this morning with no reason as to why. I am losing more than I can contribute.

Since then I checked the point of my answer and I also see losing points for them, while clearing Maps data in my account is off.
I also heard from other Local Guides. So, it seems there is another issue these days.
Same. I have been a level 8 for almost a year. I have 19,466 points. At one point I was up to about 22k points. Now it just keeps going downward. I also don’t understand why it’s such a huge jump to level 9. It will take a lifetime to get to 50,000 points! I have:
1,513 photos,
24,750,631 views of photos.
364 reviews plus 22 ratings. I have answered 3,098 questions.
3,500,000 total views on the places I’ve added

I don’t know what is happening but every day around 200-300 points are being taken off my total score. 4 days ago I already had almost 49,000 and today I already have 47,887, I don’t understand what is happening and it is worrying me now that I was almost reaching my desired level 9. Could someone help me to know what is happening with my account?

Good observation, I will check some of my screenshots and see if any difference, because I been stock on this level forever and I do get a lot of points .

Sorry for the decrease in your points. Apparently it’s a glitch somewhere. Other local guides have reported this issue as well. Therefore it’s not particular to you alone.

Mil gracias por esta ayuda también explicada y fácil de entender para cualquiera, una gran ayuda para saber el motivo de la pérdida de puntos que se está dando en muchos perfiles de los LG, es de agradecer su ayuda que nos presta todos los días para que los que nos dominamos la materia no perdamos la esperanza de que se puede hacer para solucionar estás situaciones que por desgracia se repiten día tras día.
