I have difficulty with adding new place. You know what, I think place category that they suggest are not enough.

@Fenohasina Welcome to connect! Not always we have the exact category for a place we want to add. In that case, the best way to find a suitable category on maps is to search with what you want to add on maps. For instance, I wanted to add a car repair shop, but there is no category for 'car repair shop; available on the maps. So, I searched with ‘car repair shop’ and found shops near me and I see ‘Auto repair shop’ and ‘Car repair and maintenance’ are two categories used by most businesses. Hope this helps.

In the broad category there are many sub categories. Or you may type some letters and search if it or nearer category is available.

I was typing ‘traditional restaurant’ for one place that I wanted to ad to Map and it was not available so i drooped it. And after that when I was adding a new place, a high school, at the time i started to type traditional restraurant was suggested to my in the category section. So I’m little bit faded with it
