You are absolutely right @Sagir , the help is incondizionate, we put no limit in this.

BTW, we can be more helpful if we receive the correct information, and we can do it faster

Well @ErmesT , I would add just one more general tip about imagery to complete your well set of basic tips:

Use imagery of your own in all your contributions

First of all keep in mind to never use any official imagery, the Local Guides logo is a Google brand identity and is reserved for official use only. Do not use the Local Guides logo, pin, or any other Google imagery in any of your online or offline materials without expressed written permission.

Then use images made by yourself without copying someone else images otherwise we will kindly ask you to remove them and if not Google Moderators will move the post in archive. Here on Connect we strictly care about author rights and program rules.

Btw just noticed now the last group photo of the photo is a mirror of the girls and boys ones, fantastic  .

Tank you so much @LuigiZ

I didn’t wanted to go deeply in explaining potential reasons for a violation of the rules, BTW let me think about a way to use your tip :slightly_smiling_face:

Hehehe, yes, the photo is a false mirror. You seems to be the first who have noticed this. Congratulation

I am glad you find my post helpful, @ravindus

Being aware of the rules can help Local Guides to better contribute, and they can find an answer to most of the questions that are raised in the community.

@ErmesT this post is a ā€œone stop shopā€ for the local guides things. Thanks for writing all in one place. If people goes through this there will be less generic question on the connect. This should help to make this platform a quality place.

You make me blushing @Nyainurjanah

There are a lot of helpful Local Guides in the community, not only the Moderators.

WOW! This is a wonderful post, @ErmesT . The other day I was just talking to one of my new LG friends (whom I helped to join the program and sign in to Connect for the first time) about how to post on Connect or what we exactly do in Connect and how being connected in Connect and how it helps us solving a lot of our problems related to Maps while knowing a lot of unknown topics from around the world, let it be food or culture or attire or simply the etiquette. Had I seen this post before I could have simply referred this to him instead of talking so much. :stuck_out_tongue: This is a one-stop post for any new member. Thanks for explaining so well why we do what we do. Thumbs up for that. :+1:

Haha, you are welcome @nicspelgatti

I started to think about this post months ago, exactly with this title.

I took time BTW because I had to imagine the appropriate photos for the cover and for the end of the post. Fortunately Connect Live offered me a wide range of options for the photos. Most of the time when I take a photo I think: ā€œhow can I use this photo?ā€
