A new kid on the block who used google maps and just stumbled upon local guides, i was very curious and eager to understand how it works, what all i could do and more. This have been a journey of 5+ years for me. Just like a kid growing up but in my case i was growing up as a local guide with the support of other local guides who have alway been so welcoming, approachable and kind.
I grew from my 1st failed meetup in my home town to hosting meetups in Colombo and Kathmandu, from 1 review and rating to helping businesses go online, from 1 photo to exposing a small business owner to a whole new world to scale his reach, from 1 new place added to helping fellow guides, businesses, students and startups.
Today i travel without any worries about, where to go? what to do? how to do? etc. I have become a better person and believe that all we need is a little support. Thank you fellow guides for always being there for me.
