Pozdrav dragi lokalni vodiči! Moram biti iskrena i priznati da baš i ne razumijem koncepciju ovog novog Connecta
Fali mi stari Connect, njegova koncepcija i preglednost.
Mislim da za ovaj novi Connect treba više informatičkog znanja i razumijevanja, a ja to nažalost nemam.
Jako malo toga vidim u te 4 strukture.
Kažu stručni ljudi da sada nije dovoljno samo objaviti neku fotografiju ili priču?!
Žao mi je, jer ja zaista nemam znanja za nešto više. Volim Connect, to je zajednica odličnih ljudi i uživam ovdje već oko 5 godina.
Ali ne znam kako ću sada funkcionirati ovdje…
Stekla sam nekoliko prijatelja ovdje i nadam se da ćemo se i dalje družiti ovdje.
Pozdrav svima i jako mi je žao što je moja situacija trenutno ovakva.

We are still working to produce the remaining tutorials. Maybe the one called Writing your first topic would be relevant for you. Unfortunately, that one is still only in the pipeline. I will try to see if we can get it out sooner.

Da, primjetila sam da je ovaj “novi” Connect puno, puno brži, brže radi i jednostavniji i brži je prijevod. Sve se brže očitava, što je naravno super.

Hello friend @renata1 , I felt the same way during the early stages of New Connect, and our familiarity grew as we explored the posts by @MortenCopenhagen, @AdrianLunsong and interaction with other Connect Moderators. I hope you’ll feel comfortable with New Connect soon.
Hello @renata1, I don’t believe, it is lack of IT knowledge. We all did spend much time (at least months, if not several years) in the past to slowly understand how to use the old Connect, getting used to it and grow with it. The problem is now, all of a sudden many things, we are very well used to, are different and/or we don’t find certain functions anymore.
The solution can only be, as @MortenCopenhagen said, don’t give up, read the instructions and - last not least - “play” with capabilities of this forum. I am sure, it is just a matter time only.
My general personal opinion is, a photo without any word of description is worth nothing (applies not only to Connect).
So best is, to publish one ore more photos and a story. For the story, you don’t need “knowledge”, but your personal experience with the place you are describing. But there must a be some relation to Google Maps and you should to include a link* to the place in Google Maps, so other users can not only watch your photos and read your story, but also find and explore the place on Maps.
P.S. *If you don’t know how create a link in Maps and post it in Connect, let us know. There are very good descriptions here.

Da, na žalost ne znam kako dodati vezu između Connecta i Google karata.
Sve moje objave na “starom” Connectu, uvijek su sadržavale i fotografije i priču. Bile su zanimljive, sa dosta pregleda, komentara i lajkova.
Truditi ću se da i na ovom novom Connectu bude tako.
Ali ipak mi nedostaje još puno, puno znanja…
Here, how to do it on a desktop PC, for the Smartphone, follow the instructions with link given by @MortenCopenhagen above.
First you need to copy the link from the place on Maps. There is always a button “share”, (in my example using German title):
There is a blue line “copy link”.
The link is now stored in the clipboard of your PC. Wenn writing a post in CONNECT you will find a chain icon above your text:
Click it and you will see:
Sorry to hear that your first impressions of Connect hasn’t been very good @renata1 !
As mentioned by others here, it will take a bit of time to get used to it. We, Connect Moderators, are also having to get used to the new layout and features but we have the advantage of a private group chat so share tips, problems etc.
Take your time and try not to think about the old Connect. This is a shiny new toy to play with. So use your curiosity to discover things, see what works, what doesn’t, how others are posting etc.
The Local Guides team are also aware of the big changes hence they have a feedback form for you to share your experiences. I would suggest spending some time with the new Connect and giving it a try for a bit before sharing your feedback to the team.
And, the Connect community are always here to help! so feel free to ask your questions.
Hi @renata1 It takes time to get used to some innovations. Therefore, you are right, but I am sure that you will do everything better in time. As my dear friend @MortenCopenhagen said, it is useful to participate in events. By the way, I think that subtitles should be added to the videos of the events.
