Having difficulties using the revised Connect? Don’t worry, here is the help you need.
This is the index of the Transition Tutorials.
Summary
With the updated Connect, which was released on October 28, 2024, these tutorials can help you get started quickly. It is intended to assist Local Guides accustomed to using the previous version of Connect. You can learn about exciting new features and how things are now done differently.
Introduction
During the transition period, @AdrianLunsong and @MortenCopenhagen had access to a test version of the new Connect for a few days. Our tests showed that some of the new features and terms and the new structure might need some explaining. Hence we started preparing this set of transition tutorials.
They are certainly work in progress, so only a few of the tutorials are currently ready. You can see which ones below.
You are invited to share comments and suggestions below and under the individual tutorials.
The tutorials might be read from beginning to end. But who actually does that? Alternatively, you might look through the tutorial titles below and read the ones that interest you. To avoid getting lost, it is recommended to read at least #1, #2, and #3. Or maybe the cheatsheet is your thing. However, you could also just create a browser bookmark to this page to quickly get help in the event that you need assistance using the new Connect. Have fun.
