Mohan Shakti Heritage Park, Solan, Himachal Pradesh

Mohan Shakti National Heritage Park, situated in Solan is one of its kind. The park was inaugurated by Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Dec 01, 2002. This historical national heritage park is made by sculptors from Orissa, West Bengal, Rajasthan etc.

At entry of temple you find statute of Dev and Rishi on both sides of the stairs.

The temple has beautiful and well sculpted idols of various God-Goddesses.

The main temple is of Goddess Durga but it also has idols of Lord Shiva, Vishnu-Laxmi, Panchmukhi Hanuman etc.

There is a very beautiful idol of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati in the mountain.

It took 12 years to complete this park. The main attraction of this park is it houses the idols of 108 god-goddesses.The heritage complex costs around Rs 100 crore to build.

Canteen is also here where you can get almost all items to eat.

Monuments related to “Mahabharat” is here. Surrounded by hills in the lap of nature. It is very peaceful, neat & clean area.

Garden of temple is decorated with statues looks so realistic.

Clean free public toilet for men and women which is easily accessible to those who are coming from other locations.

Did you see any chairs and ramps for the disabled to move around?
