What’s the purpose of a meet up? What do you actually do at one? If you have been to one what was your experience?

Being a Local Guide can be a lonely hobby, so meeting fellow LGs can be a lot of fun.

I get that. I want to hear from actual people not read guidelines. You know, have an actual interaction? I want personal experience.

I love Local Guides meet-ups because they bring together like-minded people who share a passion for exploring and discovering new places.
I have both attended and organized these meet-ups, and they are always fun, interesting, and inspiring. You get to meet new friends, explore the city together, take photos, and just enjoy spending time with people who are as curious and enthusiastic as you are.
