I’d like to raise concern about the Map moving issue, which is intended to confuse the googler in the wrong direction. I’ve tried a few times to move back to the original location, Wat Phnom, which is Phnom Penh’s Historical Place and Landmark, yet now it’s a misunderstanding related to Coordinates. I’ve tried to fix for many times it’s not accepted by google. Kindly help share and help us with countless issues of mapping in Phnom Penh.
This issue includes several items that we are currently addressing in the report. We are actively working on these matters; however, the challenge is that Google has not taken action on all the issues. A list needs to be sent, as you are aware, it is a voluntary effort, and Cambodia also observes a holiday. I hope that after the holiday, we can have more meetings to work on this together. @MortenCopenhagen
Thanks for sharing your concern @sovanpong the Cambodian local guide community also addressed this issue to me, and I believe they are working on this to escalate the issue and the report to submit to Google again. Any update @SophatCHY?
It is still there, it is very confusing and concerning for this incredible landmark to be pinned elsewhere beside its true location. Despite the reports have been filed and addressed many times, it is still there. Could Google help check this issue @MoniDi@Kristen_NYC@Julie_A the landmark is true and exist but pinned at the wrong location on Google map. This is a wrong location:
