Lvl 5 and haven't ever received a "perk"

Hi,

I’m level 5 and haven’t received any perk that I can think of…

Is it because I’m in Canada?

Also, would I get some kind of notification if I received a perk?

Would it be in the form of an offer or just a “here you go” kind of thing?

@cheeseNquiet Thanks for joining us in LG Connect and welcome to the family. Perks are available sometimes and some previous perks were worldwide, whilst some were geographically based. Usually when a perk is made available, it would be shared in LG Connect here, so it would be good to be active here occasionally. You can also set email alerts for new perks.

To set email notification for perks, contributions, product updates etc, head to https://maps.google.com/localguides/home/settings

In the mean time, you can have a look at this post also which lists some of the current/previous perks, you can check the details under each link and note the expiry/end date of each
And, there are always Local Guides achievement badges to be obtained and unlocked.
