Omurice means Omelet rice. It is an interesting and tasty Japanese cuisine. Omurice consists of an omelet and chicken rice made with ketchup. It looks very lovely and beautiful.

There are a number of variations all over Japan. When you come to Japan, I propose you to search and eat one as a challenge. It will be a good experience for you:)

As a reference, I introduce an Omurice and a restaurant in my region.

Reading your post I am learning every day something new @HiroyukiTakisawa . Now I am quite curious about this omelette, and I will try to find some Japanese restaurant in my country to test it.

Omurice is not famous than Sushi or Tempura, and not traditional. But it’s also a nice Japanese cuisine. I hope you to find it sooner or later.

It’s normal, haha. Most of the Japanese people are not aware of Omurice is a unique cuisine.

Omurice is not only a unique but also tasty for all ages Japanese people.

I didn’t know at all Omurice and before reading your post, on the Connect Homepage I thought more about a dessert than an Omelet with rice!

It will be a big challenge to find it here in my country, but I will try for sure.
