This is my most-viewed video so far. It’s nothing special, just a short clip sharing one of Applebee’s most popular desserts, the Triple Chocolate Meltdown, taken at Applebee’s in Brick, NJ, USA, using my Android Samsung S20.

Odd video that’s recently become my star video. I presume I was trying to show where the place is in relation to this busy road junction while I was walking past.
This was taken at the same time as my Star Photo, May 2023 when I was learning about featured media in Google maps.

My star video is of World Trade Center located in New York, USA. I had captured this video using my Google Pixel 7 Android phone. Wow!! It is one of the Architectural marvels built in place of twin towers. It is a beautiful building with plenty of stores and also hosts PATH station from NYC to New Jersey. This is a Must visit if you ever happened to be around NY.

This is my second star video.I took this video on June 29, 2023, while out to dinner with my college roommate and our wives. This was about a month after I shot my first star video, which is a montage of landscape photos. By the time I shot this video of a grilled cheese and brisket sandwich I had switched to shooting in portrait orientation and had discovered cinematic mode on my Pixel 3a. Since it was my dinner, no one had to wait to eat while I shot it . I was fortunate that the lighting was unusually good for a restaurant and my panning motion was very smooth. My mouth still waters when I watch the video; It has always been one of my favorite Maps videos and I am so glad it is my new star. It immediately became the 2nd image in the POI gallery and still remains in that position.
My only regret is that it will knock me out of the Movers & Shakers Star Video board for a couple of months. It is ironic that my first star video was in landscape mode, when Google’s preference was for portrait mode, and now that my star is a portrait image they now prefer landscape- go figure.
This is my new most-viewed video so far. It’s a short clip sharing one area of Jockey Plaza Shopping Center located in Lima, Peru . I used a Android Samsung S20.

The video shows an art installation by Hungarian artist Márton Nemes in the Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Art in Budapest, Hungary. The video was shot with an iPhone 13 Pro.
Star Video by @luis_felipe of Leroy Merlin Pontal uploaded onto Google Maps on 2024-09-10 and showing star views of 59.814 as at 2025-08-29
I recorded this video inside the Leroy Merlin Pontal store, showing the modern and spacious layout of the shop. It quickly became my Star Video, probably because many visitors want to explore the store’s interior before visiting.
This is my star video I took back in July 2022 with my iPhone 12 Pro. It’s a shopping mall in Vietnam. I somehow always thought vertical pictures/videos were recommended on Google Maps until recently. I am sorry if the picture is not centered. I read this, but it didn’t work.
