I visited the station this place located in, multiple times in 2023. And clicked many photos while exiting the station. However I visited the restaurant itself once and found the ambience and aura very pleasing and it was pretty packed then. I have left rating and review at this place if one is interested can hit the Gmaps and explore this restaurant and nearby places. To give you little more context about the name “Karigari”. It’s a chain of indian restaurant in selected 7-8 Indian cities run by popular chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. He is a renowned Indian chef, television personality, and culinary expert. He is known for his charismatic and lively cooking style, which combines traditional Indian recipes with a modern touch.

Karigar is a classic Persian word, which means a mason or artisan or craftsman. Someone who is master of his profession, specially masonry work. And the word Karigari or karigaree means the art or the technique of doing things masterfully. Because of being catchy and high class craftsmanship it has been linked to quality food preperation.

This is the second time I have had to replace my star video through not being able to find it in amongst over 9,500 images and videos that I have uploaded. The views count has trickled along apart from 3 months were it was static - it now appears to be picking up a bit of pace.

For a while this was a target location, because it afforded a wide variety of different categories of photo and videos - I have created blue lines, video, and photos. There is an ornate fountain, a bandstand, a war memorial, ornate gates, wildlife, wide open spaces, cultivated flower beds and so much more including a stream running through it. For me it was a place of inspiration and experimentation in my early days of taking images as a Google Local Guide.

I have drastically increased the number of videos I have uploaded. It will be interesting to see, when the count issues with Google Maps are corrected, whether any of the newer videos show any sign of becoming my new star video. About 12 months ago I took a video of Par 5, Milan, which is looking the most likely to become the new star video as it remains the second image for that listing.

I am now experimenting with drone shots, spheres and videos. I have taken a drone video circling around the fountain from about 15ft in the air. These newer types of shots for me, are showing some initially boosted viewing figures.

Mezethes Greek Taverna. Salamanca Square, Battery Point TAS, Australia
My star video, a screenshot of which is shown below, is of Mezethes Greek Taverna. It’s a short, only 11 second video taken of the frontage and courtyard dining area of the taverna.

Establishment in 2003, this family-run operation is housed within one of the historic bluestone buildings of the Salamanca Arts Precinct. The name “Mezethes,” meaning “many little dishes” or “to graze” in Greek, reflects its focus on offering a variety of small, flavorful dishes—a style of dining inspired by the way Greeks enjoy meals at home.

Set in the vibrant Salamanca Square, the restaurant benefits from its location within a bustling cultural and historic area known for its sandstone architecture and proximity to the Salamanca Market.

I shot the video on my faithful Google Pixel 3XL and while I took it in March 2024, it seems like I didn’t upload it onto Maps until early January 2025.

Mi trovavo per un congresso di assicuratori organizzato dallo SNA Sindacato Nazionale Agenti di assicurazione, in un albergo nella periferia milanese in un piccolo paese chiamato Cinisello Balsamo e mi ha colpito la vista dalla mia camera, ovvero la zona circostante l’ edificio e il paesaggio urbano con la tangenziale e le autovetture che passavano veloci sotto la finestra. Non è il mio miglior video ma sicuramente è il mio video più visto.

North Palm Beach, NSW, Australia

Spitalfield Market, London, UK

My top video keep changing in recent months seems mostly due to “explore” features (e.g. not even shared on the location page).
After several months of new videos rising to the top, this older video of Spitalfield Market in London (properly featured) has returned to the top.
It is a lovely old market that has been rejuvenated to a popular foods and restaurants and high end boutiques shops.

I took this panoramic right in the central point of Vésta Shopping, a charming and modern small shopping mall located in the coastal city of Torres, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Though really modest in size, Vésta Shopping stands out with its beautiful contemporary architecture and well-thought-out design. The space is clean, well-organized, and offers a relaxing atmosphere: perfect for a quick coffee, a light snack, or simply enjoying a peaceful break during your visit to this famous tourist beach town at South of Brazil.

This is my 4th Star Video in the last year and this one has made me very excited.
It’s a video of Scarborough Town Centre.

A very busy indoor mall in the east end of Toronto. I took 5 quick , 4-5 second videos and Google photos did the rest including adding music, stitching together and producing a highlight video. Google photos did it all, no external apps needed. I did get to select from their library what music I preferred.

I guess, I now know what it is like to have produced something in my mind has gone viral. Over half a million views in less than 2 months and now over a Million views in less than 3 months. It’s so exciting to watch the views grow. I am experimenting with many of these videos and having great results.

Dhaula Kuan Metro Station, New Delhi

I visited Dhaula Kuan Metro Station in October 2024. Although the station is part of the special Airport Express Line of the Delhi Metro, I accessed it via the Magenta Line. This involved a long walk—nearly a one-kilometre travelator—but once I arrived, the effort felt worthwhile.

The station is impressively modern, equipped with advanced features and served by a state-of-the-art metro train. The entire area is fully air-conditioned and well-ventilated, offering a comfortable experience for commuters. It also includes comprehensive accessibility features and essential amenities.

I tried to capture some of these highlights in this short video.

Vue spectaculaire sur La Manneporte, l’une des plus célèbres falaises d’Étretat, sur la côte d’Albâtre, en Normandie (France)
Cette arche monumentale, creusée naturellement dans la craie blanche, se détache sur l’horizon marin, créant un contraste entre le bleu-gris de la mer et le blanc des falaises. Un moment de pure beauté naturelle, que j’ai saisi en juillet 2024, lors d’une randonnée au cœur de ce paisible paysage normand. La Manneporte est la plus grande des trois arches naturelles des falaises d’Étretat, son nom signifiant « Grande Porte ». Située à l’écart et difficilement accessible, elle impressionne par sa taille de 85 mètres. Ce site spectaculaire a inspiré de nombreux peintres, fascinés par sa beauté.

Kooyman Megastore Barbados
This is Barbados’ newest and largest hardware store, with some unique features including a drive-through section. I needed a new pair of gloves, and as this was my first visit since it opened here, I took a video of the whole glove section and a few other photos.

Tokyo Japanese Restaurant, Clemson, South Carolina, USA

Went to lunch with some colleagues and got the Sushi Lunch Special. I was very happy and took a video of my meal to share with people interested in what was on the Sushi Lunch Special. I took this photo back in 2023 and it was definitely a Google Pixel phone, but I don't know which model number. I think this is a great video and definitely up there as one of my best.

Bordeira’s beach, Portugal

Praia da Bordeira is a beach on the west coast of the Algarve (Portugal), located in the Costa Vicentina natural park. The beach is very big with huge amount of sand and has a remote feel to it. It is mainly popular with surfers and nature lovers. It stretches for 3 kilometres. The beach is quite wide as well. The length of the beach makes it great for long beach walks. The sand on the beach is nice and soft. The waves of the Atlantic Ocean can be very wild here. Praia da Bordeira is backed by sand dunes and rugged limestone cliffs. Behind the beach there is a forest of ancient pine trees. This wild natural setting makes it one of the most beautiful beaches of the west coast of the Algarve. The best thing about the beach is that it is relatively unspoiled. Bordeira’s beach is usually quiet, with not a lot of people.

This video is of Lazy Dog in Brea, CA actually while i was on a date. It was the first video i really tried on to capture the restaurant and when i first had heard about the star video leaderboard. I have no clue how to link a table, but hopefully this meets the criteria for submission.
