Burrell Street Sexual Health Clinic, London, UK
When I uploaded my photo of London’s Burrell Street Sexual Health Clinic all those years ago, I never imagined it would rise to prominence as my most-viewed upload to date.
But with over 10 million views, it’s clear this clinic captures significant public interest. Perhaps people find the modern, sterile interior design aesthetically pleasing! Or maybe they’re just really intrigued by the fine selection of informational posters adorning the walls.
Honestly, I was hesitant to document such a sensitive location at first. However, knowing how popular health-related search results are, I took a chance. Turns out my instincts were spot on - this clinic is clearly Londoners’ new favorite hangout spot!
With 3.1 stars on Google, I can understand patrons having mixed feelings about their experience. But a brief awkward consultation is a small price to pay for the instant Maps fame one gains by checking in.
On a more serious note, I’m glad a spotlight can be brought to important community services. While reviews may not pour in like at trendy restaurants, it’s comforting to know this clinic’s doors remain open for all those health-related matters one prefers not discussing over tea.
So whether spicing up date night plans or assisting with more personal needs, the Burrell Street clinic has proven invaluable to many London explorers. Who knew confidentiality could cultivate such popularity!

Daisy’s Garden Centre - front entrance
Taken on Pixel 3XL in April 2020 during one of my lockdown strolls. I don’t usually walk past here as I usually drive past it. But this day, I was on a long stroll and took this photo to show it’s front entrance.
I have been very surprised that it has gained such a lot of views and it has become my star photo.

What makes this pic so interesting is the way Waiter is snooping to figure out what we were doing with the dish at his restaurant!

Star photo by StevenBerlin taken in Las Vegas, CA, at Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant at the Fashion Show mall. This was taken with a Samsung 20 FE in 2022 during covid. I loved the architecture of this restaurant and we ate there as well. It currently has 18,748,890 views and has not grown in views since the Feb, 2024 change. I don’t understand the tables people are posting at all. I will include a link. I took about 10 photos of this restaurant and it was featured instantly and stayed that way for almost 3 years. Please, please, please accept this attempt at my uploading my star photo!!!

Ink N Ivy, Greenville, South Carolina, USA
Went to dinner late one night at Ink N Ivy, because they were still open late on a weeknight!, after a show at the Peace Center and this was the amazing Red Velvet Cake dessert that I ordered. It was beautiful to look at and tasted amazing. I had to snap a photo and share it on Google Maps. So glad I did as it has been a featured photo for awhile now. I took this photo back in 2021 and it was definitely a Google Pixel phone, but I don't know which model number. I think this is a great photo and definitely up there as one of my best.Star Photo Views History

This is the photo with the most views I have currently in Google Maps. I took it on March 1, 2022 using my Android Smartphone (Samsung, probably an S20), and it shows the main plaza of the University of Lima, Peru
. Behind the plaza, you can see two modern pavilions inaugurated around that time as part of a university expansion and modernization project.

Maps Link to Photo of Tuacahn Center for the Arts
This stunning amphitheatre sits in the mouth of Padre Canyon, where towering 1,500-foot red rock cliffs create a natural backdrop unlike any other venue in the world. Known as “Broadway in the Desert,” Tuacahn has been bringing world-class musical theater to life against this breathtaking Utah landscape since 1995. The natural acoustics of the canyon, combined with the dramatic lighting on the red rock walls, creates an unforgettable experience for the 300,000 annual visitors who come to see productions ranging from Disney classics to Broadway favorites. What makes this venue truly special is how the desert setting becomes part of the show itself - with pyrotechnics, live animals, and even recreated flash floods that flow across the stage toward the audience. The amphitheatre’s 1,920 seats are perfectly positioned to take advantage of both the stage performances and the magnificent natural surroundings that make every visit unforgettable.
Camera used: iPhone 14 Pro Max. This was captured during one of my visits to this incredible venue, showcasing both the impressive seating arrangement and the dramatic red rock canyon that serves as nature’s own theater backdrop.

This is my current Star Photo, which I took wayyyy back in 2019, when I lived just north of Boston. I’ve owned (and destroyed) perhaps 25 cell phones since then, but I’d guess this was taken on a Samsung S8?
This has been my Star Photo for the last five YEARS…just a random storefront snapshot of a hardware store. Yes, it’s a popular location, a well-stocked, brightly lit, organized shop, but there must be 50 hardware stores just like it in the city.
Regardless, I’m thrilled that this uninspiring photo was viewed 16 MILLION times by DIY dads, construction company creeps, tool enthusiasts… who knows?
Unspeakably grateful nevertheless!

May 2023 is when I found out what a Featured photo was on Google Maps. I took “nice looking” photos for 6 years and didn’t even know you could look at the view count. I believe this photo was from the second day that I deliberately took photos of storefronts… because it mattered what Google wanted, not what I thought was “nice”.
I have a nice camera but you take photos with what you have with you, which is 100% your phone and in this case my Huawei P30.
It’s a bad quality photo in every respect, but you get away with a lot looking at these on phone screens. It’s not like you are going to set up a tripod and camera for these things, although I wish businesses would do that!
Photos are not my big thing with being a Local Guide, but I have to admit that getting one photo to 1M views was a nice thing to happen and that was DEC 2024,
this one has been stuck on 980,000 for nearly a year since the view numbers went a bit wonky at the start of 2024. So almost 1M views in ~9 months, and then 20,000 in the past 12 months despite being the Featured image for this location throughout.
