Light Tower in Islamabad

Light Tower in Islamabad

Hi everyone, I am Fazal Ali, from Islamabad (Pakistan), seen 40 springs of my life years, a proud Local Google Guide. Being a frequent traveler, it gives me pleasure to explore new places, meet people and make new friends. Luckily, by profession, I am a Students Study Abroad Adviser working as Chief Executive of Expert Overseas Consultants for the last two decades and member of ICEF so guiding students and people is part of my job.

Before denying the title statement that no way, there exist no Light Tower in Islamabad (Pakistan) as Islamabad is a land locked city away from 1400 KM from the nearest sea port i.e. Karachi (Pakistan),

see few random clicks of me in my beautiful city which is one of the most beautiful capital of the world as well.

please be patient and you will start to agree with me after reading following few lines.

Pakistan is ranked as 5th amongst the world most populous countries of the world by having more than 220 million people to live. As we all know that such populous countries have very less planned housing so finding a way in such a scattered, completed, un-planned housing areas always demand a proper guide. In the absence of a proper guide, you cannot reach your destination in a shortest time.

Google being a great social service initiator; did not left this room vacant and has extended their hand on this grave problem with innovative technology of GPS so one can reach destination with a greater ease. But such an innovative technology cannot work alone and do need human helping hands like one of us Local Guide acting like a Light Tower to show the travelers the right path to reach their destination in a shortest span of time.

Apart from Google Local Guide help, you cannot know the exact names and locations of new as well as old streets, towns, areas, famous points to note like religious places, grounds, shops, markets, schools and other land marks. Being a Local Guide is a good community cause and people at large should join their hands.

One day I was in a newly opened tea cafe

I was surprise with the taste of the tea and tea was served in traditional Baluchistan (a province of Pakistan) cup called “Piyala” I added the place on Google map and put few pictures, next day when I went there to enjoy the taste with some friends , we have to wait for 30 mints for table suddenly people jump on the restaurant for the tea and the business gone up even the owner was very happy, i was happy that people were commenting adding more pictures to the place added by me.its made me proud. I smiled and whispered with myself and said thanks google.

We the Local Guides are an integral part of Google Guide as Google should come forward with an innovative idea of making Google Guide an interactive platform with state of the art technologies with a fine blending of Human Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence and we the Local Guides can provide and mark important informative signs like:

Road is closed/ blocked / Road digging / construction work in progress.

People gathering / Riots / protests

Pedestrian way is accessible instead of vehicle travelling.

Some VIP movement, road is closed.

Some Accident took place

Some road event is taking place like religious gatherings.

Flood

Stock finishing sale at a certain place.

Weather update especially

Equip the Local Guides with such Gadgets to inform people about the safest journey.
