Hello all,
As per update Note #8 on the opening post, today 20 August 2020 at 09:05EST, I updated our Leaderboards for entries of @alokeme, @Ant_Bad_Yogi, @Dianederouck, @DiegoMeni, @KishorMali, @mehedihasan16323, @Mukul_BD, @Orpheo, @Velvel and @vijayparadkar and for convenience, these new entries are shown in on the leaderboards. The updates were made based on the information provided by the new entrants and if you are one of these then you should check that I have correctly entered your details and let me know if there are any errors or omissions!

- If you haven’t already done so then please read the comment about the Category of your Star Photo.
- This is a long post! If you’ve been disciplined with how you submitted your Maps photo details and have all the information in one comment then to make things easier for you to find your entry:
(a) Start at the opening post,
(b) Go down to Leaderboard #2
(c) Click on your Connect Username - If your entry is messy and all over the place, spread across several comments then why don’t you take this opportunity to tidy it up and put it all in the one comment. IF you do this then I will be able to add you to the convenient list of users on the opening post

Yes it’s a BIG project but I think it is worthwhile and I can already see great insights from the tables. I just wish we had more LGs to fill the holes in the tables of the empty or near empty LG levels. I believe we need this for a better analysis and interpretation of the data so do spread the word among your fellow LG friends.
Remember this is not a competition. It’s not about who is the best. It’s about how we can improve the quality and performance of our photos and we can learn by looking at the photo performance of a statistically large enough sample of LGs. So again I say spread the word about it!
Yes you are so right, the comments from LGs from all over the world are very interesting and we have here the collective wisdom of some of the best thinking LGs on Connect for which we should all be thankful. And why are they participating and sharing? Simple! They, as you and I, are interested in this topic and keen to see improvements in the quality and performance of photos. I’m also pleased with the number of Connect Moderators (7) and from every corner of the world that have joined in. I don’t think I’ve seen a post here on Connect with so many moderators actually participating in rather than just doing their moderating job lol! It’s this sort of discussion and engagement we need more of in Connect.
The Corona virus has given me the opportunity to start this but I do have a dream on how it might continue so the kudos that you’ve given to this post is worth a lot .
Finally, this post is so long that I’m having trouble finding your entry lol Puri. Where has it gone? I want to add you to the last update (see Note #2) !

Well done @Wisnusetiono with your impressive increase with views but please don’t worry about this for now. As I mentioned at Q&A #4 everyone’s photo views change with time and down the track I plan a BIG update to normalise all the data.

Thank you @Wisnusetiono . Can you do me a favor Wisnu. Could you please take a screenshot showing your first page of photo views in date order and add this to your previous comment. This is precisely what I want for a planned future BIG update. So we have screenshots of:
- Photos in date order showing the total number of photos and total photo views, and
- Photos in views order showing the star photo and star photo views

Great job @AdamGT , putting all of this together. Here is my contribution!
1. Below is my “star photo”:
2. The Maps Category of my Star Photo: This is the District Court of Plzeň-city district in the Czech republic. Taken just outside the train station I was exiting behind me.
3. I took/uploaded this photo on: 6th Feb 2020
4. Is it my best photo? It is not. Although I think its done at a good angle for such a structure, I like taking mostly close up pictures of flowers, but can’t really upload those anywhere! This photo is not really edited, just some minor bits here and there.
5. Why do I think it’s my “star photo”? I do believe it is because of the angle and full visibility of the structure.
6. I think the important factors that contribute to making a top photo are: It feels very random sometimes, but in my eyes pictures that are over-saturated, sharp or that have a lot of going on at the right angle.
7. The camera I used is: Xiaomi Redmi Note 5
8. My total number of photos is: 274
9. My total number of photos views is: 254,736
