It is ok to mention your blog as part of another post, but a post that is just about your blog like this one is self promotion and is not allowed on Connect.
You can best share your local places via Maps using the Local Guides functionality and millions more people will see them and appreciate your efforts.
I had a look at your profile and your photos are really nice, be careful about sharing duplicates and near duplicates as they get made private and you lose the points.
