Ottawa, Ontario had an unusual cold spring in 2019, and one of my favorite flowers Irises just start to blossom. I was surprise by the variety of different fragrant Irises have depends on the colour. The white one for example @osovets you have on your picture, smells like a jasmine green tea, but the violet is a fruity one. Hi @Aruni , thank you for asking. I love flowers, and after many years trying to save them from little animal friends such as rabbits, groundhogs, squirrels I gave up and decided to keep only animal resistant :). Irises are very easy to maintain as well as daffodils. I do not have much space to grow them, so I keep every little piece of earth for different blossom time flowers. So one is start resting and another taking their place.
Красивые ирисы, такие разные. У нас наоборот этот год жаркий, как никогда, весь июнь 30 градусов, про ирисы и думать уже забыли. Очень приятно получить частичку весны и прохлады среди лета.
@OlgaKlimchik Точно, Оля, сад совсем отдан на милость Матушки Природы, только цветы и радуют, у помидор и огурцов шансов нет выжить на природе, устала зашищать. Hа зайцев и скунцoв даже кот уже не реагирует, в общем веселимся.
