Along with sharing reviews and photos on Google Maps, we know that many Local Guides are also passionate about sharing Street View imagery. If you’re one of them, you might want to try Street View Studio. This new, web-based platform from Google allows you to publish 360-degree videos to Street View at scale.
Publish 360 imageryquickly and in batches — just upload your 360 video, and the platform will automatically convert it into Street View imagery and publish it on Google Maps. (The blue line will appear within a few days. Connections between individual photos may take a little longer.)
Preview your GPS data before uploading.
Manage your contributions with features like Search, Filter, View, and Delete.
Track your kilometers or miles and see how many views your imagery has received on Google Maps.
Receive notifications to stay up to date about uploads and processing.
The platform automatically blurs faces and information, like license plates, so you don’t have to. You can also troubleshoot uploading errors following the on-screen instructions and use the helpful ‘Layers’ button to view your blue lines on the map, or plan your future contributions to places that don’t have Street View imagery yet.
Hop over to Street View Studio and follow these steps to try it yourself. To share your first impressions or report a technical issue, please use the feedback option in the top right corner of the platform screen.
That’s so great!! Please note that I redacted your image to protect your privacy as it showed your email address. Feel free to add it again with your personal data removed!
It’s great to see Google still actively encouraging 360 submissions, it’s been some time since I did any but I’m keen to get back out there and test this.
Excuse me ! you generally should have answers to these kinds of Phenomenon so I will direct this to you. Hope you don’t mind? thank you. just some observations I made from looking at mine on the desk top as well like yours.
A screenshot of mine and its a dotted blue line instead
It also says “Sorry we have no Imagery here”
could you please clarify what I am not getting right or what is not right in general or what should be done.
The dotted line is showing a Photo path, @SholaIB , while a solid blue line is showing a series of Connected 360 Photos, in this case created with a Ricoh Theta V in video Mode.
If you click on the preview (where it is said “sorry, we don’t have Imagery here”) on the right side you will see a photo
I see now. Thank you for the prompt response. It’s good to know the difference the Ricoh Theta V in video mode and what’s uploaded from a phone photo path.
Does that means the mobile users are unable to create a blue line?
Thank you for these amazing updates this will give a more clear picture of the location and my class will be very happy to see all these photos n 360 views.
Wow @DeniGu yes, it’s a great new feature added for street view lovers. Differently It is showing the metrics and status of the contributions. Thanks team for updating.
