बिहार की सड़क व्यवस्था (Road Network)
1. कुल सड़क नेटवर्क
2005 में बिहार में लगभग 14,468 किमी सड़कें थीं।
2025 तक यह बढ़कर करीब 26,000 किमी हो गई हैं।
इसमें राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग (NH) लगभग 6,147 किमी,
राज्य राजमार्ग (SH) लगभग 3,638 किमी,
और जिला सड़कें (MDR) भी दोगुनी हो चुकी हैं।
2. सड़क घनत्व (Road Density)
बिहार का सड़क घनत्व 218.8 किमी प्रति 100 वर्ग किमी है।
इससे बिहार भारत का तीसरा सबसे ज्यादा सड़क घनत्व वाला राज्य है।
3. ग्रामीण सड़कें और कनेक्टिविटी
बिहार की लगभग 83% सड़कें ग्रामीण हैं।
योजनाएँ:
मुख्यमंत्री ग्राम संपर्क योजना (MMGSY)
प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना (PMGSY)
इनसे गाँव-गाँव तक पक्की सड़क पहुँचाई जा रही है।
अभी हाल ही में लगभग 6,000 किमी ग्रामीण सड़कों का रखरखाव (maintenance) किया गया है।
