2.Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
3.What I love about being a Local Guide: That I’m part of the great Local Guides community on Connect. The people I get to know here amaze me with their kindness, positive spirit, and fun, engaging stories. Every day, there’s someone who puts a smile on my face, and I appreciate that a lot.
4.My favorite thing to explore: Hidden gems in nature and ancient places. For example, the Hotnitsa Waterfall from the photo above, where Deni and I met by chance, was breathtaking. We even got to swim in it! I can’t describe the feeling; it was so peaceful. I love visiting historical places, too, but not the popular monuments. I like the Thracian sanctuaries with their different energy. Luckily, we have a lot of these in Bulgaria, like the Tatul sanctuary I visited recently and really enjoyed.
5.Fun Fact about me: I love animals. I love them all, but cats are my favorite. Whenever I see one, I have to touch it, feed it, and love it. I usually go to a monastery close to where I live because there are a lot of kittens there, and I get to feed and pet them. You can see two of them in one of the first photos of this post!
