What I love about being a Local Guide: I absolutely enjoy the status of working for Google (even though it’s not official lol). I get the opportunity to visit new places, try out new food, and experience the world. Although I’ve not been to Europe and America, I’ve been able to contribute to mapping my area and putting new businesses on the map!
Architectural Masterpieces are an attraction to me! I hope to visit each of the 7 Wonders of the World soon!
I love exploring food and drinks. I always get a taste of the local delicacies wherever I go.
I totally love to go snorkeling and see those tiny animals underwater!
Fun fact about me: I like Motorsports and Supercars very much (I hope to own a Lamborghini soon). I’m a little scared of heights but I plan to skydive in Dubai to get rid of that fear!
Hi Everyone, my name is Karen and I live in Canberra, the National capital of Australia.
I love being a Local Guide and introducing people to all the amazing things that there are to do in my home town and its surrounds. Canberra gets a bit of a bad wrap for being boring but it’s actually full of hidden treasures and things to do. I like shining a light on these things so that everyone can experience the things Canberra has to offer.
My favourite things to explore are all the festivals that we have celebrating different aspects of our culture. Last month I was involved in the National Multicultural Festival as a volunteer, this week I’m enjoying Enlighten, next week is our hot air balloon spectacular.

This is charan, I am new to this local guide connect. I love to travel places and exploring myself. At the same time Google is giving wonderful opportunity to share my experience to the world. Wherever I go I just experience myself and same I will review it. I am a professional photographer and again thanks to share my photography work to Google maps.
3. I proud to be a Local Guide: I want to go some new place ,visit and learn about the culture and history of the places or collect stories and photos and shared to my friends, especially traditional food. I love history so I really want to go to new places and learn about it.
When I first learned about the Local Guide, I found it really helpful to share and contribute to people about new lands, with little or no information. So I always try to share my feelings about the places I go to contribute to everyone with the Local Guide around the world .
