Hi mam! :waving_hand: @AngieYC
This is my introduction — happy to be here!
I’m excited to be a part of the Local Guides Connect community and to learn from so many passionate contributors around the world. Here’s a little about me:

  1. Name: Daripelli Rahul

  2. Location: Vemunoor, Mahabubabad, Telangana, India :india:

  3. What I love about being a Local Guide:
As a Local Guide Level 8, I love helping people through my photos, reviews, and updates on Google Maps. It gives me real satisfaction to know that someone may find a good place or small business just because of my contribution. I believe in supporting local vendors, repair shops, and hidden gems that often go unnoticed.

  4. My favorite thing to explore:
I enjoy traveling to new and unique places — especially where there’s culture, food, and stories. Whether it’s a railway underbridge with art, an old temple, a village road, or a busy market, I like capturing real moments and sharing them through Maps. I also love exploring food stalls and vibrant street life.

  5. Fun fact about me:
I watch a lot of movies — it’s one of my biggest hobbies. :movie_camera: I also love traditional Andhra food (Pesarattu and Avakaya are my top favorites!), and I start every morning with idli. Exploring, eating, clicking, and contributing is part of my lifestyle. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Looking forward to growing with this wonderful community and sharing more from my side of the world!

Please dear all help me by liking my reviews and photos

Hi @sanaullah

Getting followers is often related to the quality of our contributions.

You might not be aware that uploading selfies and group photos is actually against the guidelines. As such photos are less helpful to Maps users because they are primarily interested in the places not faces.

Hi Mr @sanaullah
Note that you’re welcome to our community.
Indeed as Mr @MortenCopenhagen stated it your uploaded should be following google map’s policies..
And for general and public purpose as we are invited to upload places’s pics and videos to help people regarding their search and direct them on their choices …

Doing in such way to help a lot and I’m sure that you won’t need to ask or invite to follow up your account or like your uploaded..( when it’s useful and helpful people will easily and massively follow up and hit and like it.. and you’ll collect more then asking people to do it …)

I hope those trips could provide you clarity..and help you reconnect as well..

#LG

Hi Alessandro,

Great to have you here! Loved reading your introduction, it’s amazing how you blend your passion for scenic hikes and hidden spots with supporting local businesses.

80 million photo views across 39 countries is seriously impressive. And your ability to connect across languages, even with gestures and Google Translate, is such a cool touch. Looking forward to seeing more from you, especially those stunning Swiss peaks.

I’m a passionate explorer, always on the lookout for hidden gems — from quiet parks and historical landmarks to cozy local cafes. I live in Azerbaijan/Ganja city and actively contribute to Google Maps by writing reviews and adding new places.

I’m looking to connect with other Local Guides or enthusiasts who enjoy discovering places, sharing honest feedback, and maybe even organizing meet-ups, photo walks, or small community events in our city.

Let’s build something meaningful together! Feel free to reach out — I’m open to collaboration and ideas.

Wow! Traveled 39 countries and can speak five languages. That’s super amazing man!

Hello everyone!
My name is Taehun Bang and I have recently become a level 6 Local Guide. I am here to learn from other guides on how to better enhance my words on the review, to learn from more experienced local guides on how to help the local restaurants further, and to put the spotlight on more local businesses.
I originally started the google review due to a sushi restaurant that purposefully sent few gone bad pieces of fish to takeout customers, knowing that they won’t bring the food back(they have gone under since). I have called them to inform them and since they did not know that I spoke Korean, I overheard the owner speaking “so what the f*** does he want?”. I wanted others to avoid such experience, so I posted my review.
Then a week later, I went to a local momo shop in Parkdale and had a completely opposite experience. The owner of the restaurant greeted us with a huge smile, and was very informative with the menu for us. Then he overheard that the next time we come that we wanted to try other specific momos, and he brought us a mixed bag of momos that we wanted to try. When we thanked him and offered to pay, he just wanted us to come back and have a good time in his restaurant. That is when I wanted to take google review more seriously.
If anyone is willing to say hello on this post, I would greatly appreciate it if you can post your “I love this place, but needs more reviewers on board” type of place as well.

I tend to review 10-30 dollar price range restaurants mostly, few 50-100 type of places per year, regardless of which ethnicity food(I weigh over 200lb and I love all food).
I have gone to and reviewed/reviewing four campgrounds this year, and planning on going to two more.
(Taking recommendations on restaurants and campgrounds  )

Welcome to the community, @TaehunBang! Thank you for sharing your story. I really appreciate how you support local businesses and speak honestly about both the good and bad experiences. I also write reviews because I want to help people and support local places too.

Looking forward to reading more of your reviews—especially on food and campgrounds!
