My name is Marisa Harripersad, I am “new” from the lovely twin islands in the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago. I have always loved the idea of having the option of writing or reading reviews when travelling and visiting places, both foreign and local. I decided to start writing reviews on Google maps to help people get a better idea of places and restaurants. I love to travel and absolutely love food and desserts; the choice of being able to look up a new place on Google maps and read the reviews has helped me a lot in my decision making for travel etc. I am thrilled that my reviews have also helped people do the same, and I look forward to posting more pictures and reviews as I go along.

Hey everyone! My name is Keva. I’m from the Washington D.C. area. I enjoy staying active through my career as a physical therapist by day and salsa dancer by night! On Google maps I love sharing places for people to Latin dance. My reviews can help people feel more comfortable going to a new place, doing a new activity, like dancing.
I also love exploring restaurants with unique themes or items on their menus. Whether it’s a vegan restaurant called MEET in Vancouver or a DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS curry chicken pie in Washington DC, I’ll snap a picture to share before I dig my teeth into a delectable dish.

What I love about being a Local Guide: Sharing about Madagascar is my main motivation about being a local guide, because there is a lot of great places, food, culture and history in my country but very few of it is yet known by others. But I am sharing others places as well because I love travelling.

My favorite thing to explore: Nature is my best friend. I am not really a food-lover but I will always enjoy good food. Discovering people, animals, plants and landscape are my main motivation when I travel.
- Fun fact about me: I am known as a shy person but when it comes to dancing, I am the king of the dancefloor.
I can take any ladies out there to swing on a rythmic salsa or tango

- What I love about being a Local Guide: Since 2006, I has worked as hotel software specialist so I had chances to travel to cities and overseas in southest Asian Countries. I started to find out that how useful Google Maps is. So I started to contribute pictures and added missing places… to share with the world community. I will contribute to Google maps endlessly as sharing is receiving.
- My favorite thing to explore: My favorite activities are posting pictures as it can be done easily and at any times. Photos speak more than thousand words, give the community to recognize the place and make decision. My photos might not tell how beautiful the places but they will tell what reality of the places is. Answering questions about known places helps people too.
- Fun fact about me: When I was 6 years old, it was about 9 years after my country reunited (North and south), I walked to my school on countryside land road in rainy season after heavy rain. Rain water flooded over the road with some part of the road about over one and a haft meter high to let people guess where the high lane were for avoiding get head wet . With the child thinking, I took off trousers and shoes, tied them to my neck (my book bag was on my head) with hope that they would not get wet. However when I reached to the school gate, my teacher laughed to tears as all things on my neck and head but nothing dried. People get over to head for bright future counting from this fool step and so does my country - Vietnam.
