Hello Local Guides 
Every year on April 27, International World Design Day is celebrated globally to recognize the power of design in shaping ideas, communities, and a better future.
On this special occasion, I’m excited to bring a creative challenge for our amazing community!
Over the years, design challenges on Connect have inspired incredible creativity. In fact, during the Delhi Mega Meetup 2025, I proudly wore a T-shirt featuring designs from the 10th Anniversary Logo Challenge winners. I proudly used the designs by @ShifaAymal and Connect Moderator @AdrianLunsong on my T-shirt—truly reflecting the spirit of our community. 
Also, about a year ago, I had the opportunity to design the Rajasthan Local Guides logo, which many of you appreciated and supported.

Introducing the Challenge: Design the “Local Connector” Logo
Recently, I announced the creation of the Local Connector Community with a vision to strengthen collaboration, engagement, and meaningful connections among Local Guides.
To give this initiative a visual identity, I invite you all to participate in this special design challenge!
Challenge Guidelines
Please follow these rules carefully:
The logo must be circular in shape
The logo should include only the text: “LOCAL CONNECTOR”
No copyrighted elements (no Google logos, Maps icons, or third-party graphics)
You are free to use your own creativity, colors, and design style
Original designs only (no AI-generated content copied from others)
Deadline 2026-05-02T18:29:00Z

The idea for initiating this challenge was inspired by @Rahul001, who reminded us about this special day in an unofficial community group.
