Yes, the widows will have a more tough time, and especially when they see others wearing Sindur… In fact, immediately after the death of the husband, the Sindur will be “smudged” on the forehead of the widow by herself.

Some Dots are based on some rituals - example: the black dot on my wife’s forehead - is worn after a special Puja (a Hindu ritual/prayer).

@TravellerG sir we consider kumkum tilak on the head between patrician of hair, not on our head. and this is the first time doing it on the day of the wedding. so I have put this pic here for better understanding.
