In the Footsteps of Bruce Lee in Oakland

The last few years I was going through a transformational time and looking for inspiration. Bruce Lee and his teachings have become such inspiration for me. I felt very much in-tuned with his philosophy and even started practicing kung-fu myself! )))

After having moved to Oakland, I went on a small tour visiting places where Bruce Lee lived and worked.

Feeling very fortunate to walk the same streets as #BruceLee did back in the days. It is right here on Broadway where he had his school, it’s the same garage at Monticello Ave where he was training, same house where he lived with his family. When you are up for a big challenge, it is people like Bruce and their legacy and stories that make you believe u can make it, no matter what. Training. Taking small steps day after day. #thankyou Bruce Lee and your family for making an enormous sacrifice for humanity. Your #legacy will live on #respect #love #peace

p.s. A special thanks to the lady of the house who kindly showed me the garage Bruce was training in @ Oakland, California
