I am pleased to announce that I will be organizing a Photo Walk and Map Editing meetup on behalf of the Pakistan Local Guides community on February 26, 2026.
What We Will Do
The primary goal of this meetup is to improve the accuracy of Google Maps in historic areas of Lahore. We will focus on:

Updating essential business information (opening hours, websites, and contact numbers).

Adding
accessibility information to help users with mobility needs. -
Adding new businesses and correcting existing map errors.

Capturing high-quality photos of Lahore Fort, Food Street, and the surrounding areas.

Time: 09:00 PM (After Taraveeh)
Meeting Point: Haveli Restaurant, Food Street Lahore (Near Lahore Fort/Shahi Qila)
What to Bring
Please ensure you bring your mobile phones, cameras, power banks, and any other necessary gadgets. Ensure your devices have a stable internet connection and sufficient battery charge.
Important Notes
Expenses: Please note that expenses for snacks and drinks will be shared equally among all participants.
Who can join? This meetup is open to everyone! Whether you are a seasoned Local Guide or a beginner, you are welcome to join us.
