As part of the Inspiring Ramadan ’26 global collaboration, we (me & @PavelSarwar ) are organizing a meaningful Ramadan Iftar Photowalk in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Everyone is welcome to join :white_heart:

:alarm_clock: Time: 5:00 PM

:round_pushpin: Meeting Point: Mardeka Square.

:camera_with_flash: What We Will Do

:sparkles: Explore the Ramadan atmosphere around Merdeka Square

:sparkles: Walk around the Iftar bazaar area and capture vibrant Ramadan moments

:sparkles: Visit historic mosques nearby: Masjid Jamek and National Mosque,Malaysia.

:sparkles: Take photos of architecture, decorations, accessibility & facilities

:sparkles: Contribute photos, videos and reviews on Google Maps

:crescent_moon: Iftar Plan

After exploring the Iftar bazaar:

  • Everyone will buy their own Iftar food (self-sponsored).

  • We will sit and break our fast together as a community :white_heart:

After Iftar:

  • Muslim participants will pray Maghrib at Masjid Jamek.

  • From there, those who wish can join us to go to Masjid Negara Malaysia for Tarawih prayer.

  • Participants who do not plan to join Tarawih can end the meetup at Masjid Jamek — this will be our official closing point.

Ramadan is about unity, reflection, and sharing blessings. Through this photowalk, we want to celebrate the peaceful yet vibrant spirit of Kuala Lumpur during this sacred month.

Everyone is welcome — Muslim and non-Muslim friends alike.
