Imo state Nigeria, good loving people.

Imo state is a good place in Nigeria Which someone can easily talk about in Nigeria because of it’s popularity among other states in the country.

Imo State is made up of 27 local government, that comes together for the state.

Moreover, over 95% of Imo lite are Christians, you hardly see or find Muslim in the state. Any Muslim is a visitor or non indigen.

In my view, I want to be specific. Owerri is the capital city of Imo State. Owerri people are believed in Christ Jesus, which makes them special in Church activities. Like today, I attended one the most biggest Church with them today, and this Church is the supreme parish that supersedes all other Catholic Church in Owerri city council.

The follow-up the process of Christ, which they would also love their friends to join them in participation.

In other words, Owerri is a kind of place where you can talk about pleasure, leisure or merriment. They found pleasure and leisure very lovely. They can play with their work or anything, but cannot play with merriment. In fact, Leisure and merriment is their identity because the highest number of Hotels in Nigeria would be found in Imo State, any kind of Hotel you can talk about, it’s found in Imo state. They promote leisure than any other thing. Merriment comes first before anything, Owerri precisely. Owerri have specific local dish soup called Owerri–soup, this soup is very lovely and always delicious when it comes to taste.

Owerri people love to promote their regional language which is Igbo language and they love anybody that’s not an indigen, that can speak Igbo language very well.

Perhaps, there’s another place in IMO state called Mbaise. These people are great and wonderful, Mbaise people are culture people.

One of the most important and popular culture in Mbaise land is New Yam festival, this festival always take place during August 25 annually. During this time, their sons and daughters in different places will travel back to their villages to celebrate this festival. Many people from different parts of the country honour this festival in a bigger way. During this time, they will cook different kinds of food and drinks everywhere.

One the most popular local dish they like to cook during this festival is Egusi soup which is Mellon

Their is another festival that normally take place during December time. This festival is a general festival but Mbaise people celebrates it more than any other local government, any region or any country in this world. They call it Christmas festival. During this season, different kinds of masquerade will appear and participate on Christmas festival dance. This masquerade have names which I can’t remember for now.

This always attract different people from different countries in the world, to come and witness Mbaise Christmas festival every year. During this people from different countries come and participate on Christmas festival.

In all, Imo lite are peace loving people with all their hearts. The welcome visitors with all their heart. And most importantly, they don’t discriminate against visitors or other regions.

Imo lite, believe in peace and culture. They always maintain the spirit of oneness and harmony.

In other words,
