Hey Google I so love sharing pictures of guest houses and holiday resorts via Google Maps. It all started with just sharing with my wife, as she will request me to send the pictures of the places I am staying in while I am working away from home.
My smartphone will be loaded with all these pictures from different places and with my smartphone always loaded with Google Maps, there will be that humbly request to rate the current location and share the images. I will also humbly comply with the responses and images with pleasure.
I don’t want to lie, as at the beginning there was this question “Do I really have to do this?” and eventually reality hit me when I started to realize that … wait a minute… I also always use Google to search for content which has been shared by others, so why can’t I share with others?
Ever since then I just fell in love with sharing most of the places that I visit or pass by. I love to share all the good places and anything that excites me, because i want others to see the beauty out there in order to make it easy for them to make an easy choice the day they decide to go at that particular area.
As we all know that sharing is caring, I do all of this because I just care and so love to see others happy. Thank you Google for giving us a platform to reach out to others, while we also benefit a lot from others. In my home language which is isiZulu there’s a saying “Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu” which translates to “I am who I am because of other human beings”
People let us keep on sharing all the good things out there and where things aren’t so good let’s bring it to the attention of the owners or management for improvement. OK Google …
