I have decided to quit being a Local Guide

I will leave the guide after commenting on the places I took notes. Of course, the reason I quit guiding was because I was constantly having problems. My new comments are constantly being suspended by Google.

The thing is, there is no inappropriate content in my comments. In my comments I only indicate the working conditions in the factory. If there is inappropriate content, Google will not publish my comment. If the comment is published, it means there is no inappropriate content.

I have been constantly restricted as a local guide for 2 years. The high level local guides here never mention this. There are many people who have deleted all their contributions and stopped being local guides because their comments were constantly suspended. I have opened a topic about this issue here many times. I even applied twice to have my past comments checked under the guidance of an official named DeniGu. The result is again disappointment.

Today I republished two comments I made a year ago that were suspended months ago. The problem is that when I edited the comments, they were not published because they were considered spam.

As I said, I will not contribute to Google after commenting on the businesses I took notes on. When there is an alternative site to Google, I will gradually transfer my comments there. Comments on Yandex are also published on Google. For this reason, I will not choose Yandex.

Hi @Murat , I am sorry to reach you so late, as I saw that others already responded to your other topics, including @DeniGu
By checking the link provided previously by you I can see that

You said:

Your last 4 reviews were posted in the last two days

In fact this is not true. The AI is mostly searching for keywords. In fact a lot of your visible reviews are against the Maps user-generated content policy - Maps User Generated Content Policy Help
It is defined “Conflict of interest”: Prohibited & restricted content - Maps User Generated Content Policy Help
It means that we should not review a place we worked for, a place owned by a competitor or a family member, because the review can be influenced by a positive or negative experience unrelated to the experience as “customers”
It means that if someone report your review, the review will be most probably removed

I fully agree that a lot of places are plenty of fake reviews, and we should help Google to improve their way to remove them.
But this has nothing to do with your own reviews. As I explained already, several of your visible ones are not following the rules. This applies also for some photo taken inside the working places. That places are not accessible to the public, so that photos should not be posted.

Totally Of topic, I love your photos of

Despite working in Izmir for more that one year I’ve never been there. Was the place already open to the public on the '90s?

My comments about the factories Ege Seramik and Pınar Et were suspended after they were published. My reviews are being suspended because business owners are complaining. Do you consider this situation normal?

You said it wasn’t right for me to include a photo of where I work in my comment. If you, as an official, say so, then so be it. Comments I make without adding a photo are also suspended. How will you explain this situation?

It is certain that I went to the business I reviewed using Google Maps. This can be accessed from the records. My review for the business MEDCARE Healthcare Sterile -Nonsterile Surgical Gowns and Protective Coveralls got about 10 likes. I went to the business using Google maps. My review was suspended multiple times because the business owner complained. I edited and published my review of the business. You can look at my profile. The review was again not published because it was suspended several times. Read the comment and see if there is any inappropriate content.

I’ll write the comment here for your convenience.

They are looking for experience in textiles. Minimum wage for starting work. After the job interview, they give me a difference of 2 thousand liras. No bonus or social rights. Working hours are 08:15-18:30. Fazla mesai 21:00, cumartesi 18:30’a kadar. Servis hizmeti var.

What do you think is illegal about this comment?

A comment I made in the past regarding a clothing store open to the public was suspended. I wrote what I saw to be true in my comment. I wrote about the good aspects and also the negative aspects. I also noted that a jacket pocket was sewn incorrectly. I also mentioned this in my comment. I gave this business 4 points and published it. The comment was suspended a few months after it was published. There are many similar examples. Frankly, your answer did not satisfy me at all.

You said that sharing some photos taken at work places does not comply with the rules. Let me ask you this. There are photos shared of the production line of the Hugo Boss factory. Those who share these photos are the people who comment. Hugo Boss is located in the Aegean Free Zone. There are a total of 485 comments about the factory in question. My review of this factory was suspended months ago. I didn’t add a photo in my comment. I just wrote what I saw as true. I am writing the comment that was suspended here.

They say they will get back to me after the job interview without specifying the salary. Going into an interview and not knowing how much you’re going to get is just plain ridiculous.

When you meet with a company from abroad, it is possible to see exactly what transparency is. They even specify which hospitals you can benefit from under private health insurance.

This is the comment that was removed from publication. This comment received a total of 7 likes. Now can you tell me what violates Google policies in this comment?

A business owner has the same right that we have to report a review.
The review will be checked and if found to be against the rules, it will be removed. I explained to you already what kind of violation I can see in several of your reviews.
A business don’t have more power than anyone else in having a review removed

Because, as already explained, the reviews itself have to be considered Conflict of interest

The vast majority of the comments I share do not have photos. You mentioned conflict of interest in your first answer. I am a local guide giving comments. I have witnessed numerous people having their reviews removed without a local guide. Comments from non-local guides are also deleted. I read these deleted comments one by one and did not see any inappropriate content. Business owners report bad reviews to Google. Google is removing this comment from publication. That’s exactly the problem.

Once more, @Murat
You are reviewing a company where you applied for a job, without being hired.
Your experience about the business is just related to a job interview, and it may sounds like a personal rant.

Have you appealed to have the reviews reinstated?

Please share the link, and I will report them

My review of a business named Egepan has been deleted many times. I’m writing the comment here.

I was kept waiting for an hour for a job interview. Salary is minimum wage. No bonuses, no social support. Working hours are five days a week, 8:00-19:00. Six days a week, 8:00-18:00, depending on the situation. Saturday does not count as overtime.

Working hours per week in Turkey are 45 hours. The factory in question does not pay extra wages for more than 45 hours a week. What could possibly be in this comment that will be removed dozens of times?

I applied with the help of an official named DeniGu, but the result did not change.

Here is the reply @DeniGu gave you

So I am asking again: did you used the form to appeal?

I filled out the form to have my comments reviewed for the past year. I also filled out the form again, one week after I republished my unpublished comments.

A check of the profile may takes up to 8 weeks, according to my personal experience, @Murat
Editing the reviews after sending the appeal will automatically cancel the appeal, because it will be considered as a new review
