I am using Firefox. Version 77.0b4 x64 is now installed. To add a road, I go to the “Send feedback” / “Missing road (add a road that should be on Google Maps)” page. The screen displays “Report missing road (click the map where the missing road should be)” and “Click a place or road segment”. A short left-click does not affect anything. A long press and dragging, as expected, shifts the map. I changed the scale, but it did not affect anything, the problem remains.
@Korwin You should tag one Google Moderator to get of your questions or doubts.
@YogsatvaYoga , thank you for the advice. Which of them is authorized to deal with such issues? @Petra_M ? @MashaPS ? @sonnyNg ?
@Korwin Thanks for sharing with us. I would advise you to check first to see if you have road added accessibility here? if u have then you follow the Google Maps policy and add it, I hope it will be done. but now you have to wait for some time for covid-19. If need to know more, you can follow how to add road in google map / https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/News-Updates/Report-a-missing-road-on-Google-Maps/ba-p/266970 Thanks

@ShohrabSahed , this is the territory of Russia. I live here. This is where all the roads that I added to Google maps are located:
And I can add roads in an Android app:
It’s about the malfunctioning of Google Maps in this browser / this version / settings of this browser / its add-ons.
if u have then you follow the Google Maps policy and add it, I hope it will be done.
I try to follow the guidelines for adding roads to Google maps, including Road Mapper rules. Yes, I’m working on Road Mapper Missions.
but now you have to wait for some time for covid-19. If need to know more, you can follow how to add road in google map / https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/News-Updates/Report-a-missing-road-on-Google-Maps/ba-p/266970
By your link, I see, including, an instruction for desktops:
To report a missing road on desktop
Open Google Maps
Click Send Feedback in the lower right corner
Select Report a Missing Road
Place the pin where the missing road should appear
Add the name of the road and any additional information
Am I doing something wrong?
Hello @Korwin
I tested the functionality to report missing road in Firefox browser. That is working alright.
I suggest you do the routine troubleshooting. Clear the history & cookies. If that doesn’t provide any resolution, then please reinstall the browser.
However, one curiosity. Are you reporting that as a problem specific to the Firefox browser or is it a universal complaint?
You are running a beta version of Firefox @Korwin I recommend you try in the mainstream v76 release version. There are usually issues in the beta versions, you can’t expect them to work with every site and you can’t expect every site to work with beta versions. If it works in 76 then I suggest you report a beta issue via https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/

Hello @Korwin ,
Regarding your last comment on the thread, I would like to clarify one of the main goals of Connect — and Local Guides — is bringing people together no matter where they are from or what language they speak. We all have the same passion: share our world with others. We want Connect to be a warm and welcoming place for all. we don’t support content that promotes or condones violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, veteran status, or sexual orientation/gender identity, or whose primary purpose is inciting hatred on the basis of these core characteristics. This can be a delicate balancing act, but if the primary purpose is to attack a protected group, the content crosses the line. Please review our Local Guides Program Rules before posting.
@C_T , I have no answer to your last question, which would not violate the Local Guides Program Rules, from the point of view of the moderators of Local Guides Program.
The response to the rest of your post has also been deleted by the moderator. Apparently, he was also written in the wrong way.
@PaulPavlinovich , maybe you’re right. But I needed to make sure that the problem was in this version of the Firefox / only mine. And no other Firefox user has ever encountered it. Now, I am glad that this is only my problem.
I often use beta products too @Korwin its important when you have an issue and you’re using a beta that you try to replicate the the same thing in a non beta version of the app. Then if you have a way you can report that to the provider of the app. This can be very helpful to the app developers.
