here in Brazil in portuguese we say: “Caro amigo” for Dear friend.
“Caro” means: prized, overpriced, valuable!

Hi Golam, Dear in Spanish means “Querido” so if you want to say “Dear friend” you can say “Querido Amigo”.I think is a very great word too, you can show appreciation with that just one word.
