@AriMar exactly what I was looking for. There were a few Road closures in my area recently that I didn’t know how to report. This is going to do wonders for directing traffic.

Thank you very much for this update, @AriMar and Google team.
But wasn’t road closure during a crisis like this needs approval first from the authority, so the users could get the right and updated information during crisis?
But an update like this is very appreciated. Very useful… :))
@AriMar thanks for sharing this helpful feature
That’s a great option to help others @AriMar
We can aware others if roads are closed somewhere and save the time of masses.

Hello, @AriMar
Thank you for introducing this! You are so helpful!
I will share this in our community and Japanese local guides!
@AriMar Thank you for sharing this feature with us. It is so useful in case of crisis. Anyhow our safety and loved ones come first. Hope we rarely use this feature.
Thank you @AriMar for sharing it is very useful
This is very helpful feature indeed. I will share the post with my Cambodia community.
@AriMar this doesn’t work in the Philippines, right?
Since the Crisis Card feature is not available in my Android phone, I tried using the Dropped Pin option. Found out however that there is also no Report A Problem Option after “dropping the pin”. ![]()
This is a life-saving feature for a country like the Philippines that has suffered from an inexhaustible number of deadly typhoons, earthquakes, volcano eruptions and other natural disasters. This is due to its location along the Ring of Fire, or typhoon belt – a large Pacific Ocean region where many of Earth’s volcanic eruptions and earthquakes occur.
I hope this feature is activated in my country. Thank you.

That’s good thanks for share with us @AriMar but this feature not work in Bangladesh.
It’s a great update and really a better solution for closure notification on Google Maps and of course it’s a great feature for Maps users. When I was visiting Winston Salem, North Carolina I got the notification automatically from Google Maps about this feature to know the better route to go where a road was closed for further developement works by the state authority. Thanks @AriMar for updating & sharing of this advance feature on Google Maps.
