Have you ever traveled to a new small location and tried to find something to eat?Or maybe an working ATM?It’s extremely difficult to do it in a small city because there is almost no details available on the internet.For me,mapping and keeping all the information up to date is very important.And more important,it will also help the community by attracting visitors,customers and travelers.Many times I find very old businesses that do not even exist online,they are like ghosts.

@mahutz welcome to the Local Guides Connect community. Yes, what you shared is true, small towns and places may have less information readily available on Maps and web. That’s one of the benefit of the Local Guides program where we draw from a collective contribution from anyone anywhere so even remote places can have local people contributing to benefit us all. And when we visit these places, we get to talk to the locals there about the program to get them contributing as well, which will help their location and local businesses there.
