How to Fact Check and answer questions about places?

Hi! This is my first post. I have an iPhone 12 and I don’t seem to find how to fact check in the google maps app or on the PC. I read somewhere that only Android phones can fact check, why is that? And also I want to answer questions about places but no questions ever pop up for me to answer. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks

Hello @sara_c

Welcome to connect. Pleased that you have posted the question on the right board. Although if you had checked before posting it,there are a few questions exactly like yours but with solutions attached. For subsequent questions, please check if it already exists on the board. It will save you time and energy.

Having said that, like you said "this feature is only available for android users only. As mentioned in this article . hopefully the developer who work round the clock will succeed and make it available for IPhone users someday soon. Further reading on this can be An-update-on-Check-the-facts . You may find more answers in that post.

Hope this helps. Happy guiding

Cheers

Hi @sara_c

Regarding checking the fact @SholaIB is unfortunately correct, and the feature is not yet available for iOs

But if you have a desktop computer you can Answer questions about places using the maps widget in Google Search.

Thanks to the integration between different programs one widget of Google Maps will appear in Google Search when you search for a place that has a Listing in Maps. In my example I’ve used the last place where you contributed, Nikola Tesla Technical Museum

As you can see, scrolling down the page there is “Know this place” question (inside a red box in my screenshot.

Clicking in there, a pop-up will the questions will appear
