Just click on any individual layer and you’ll hide it from the main view.

For hotels, you can use the suitcase with the stamps (in the Holiday subfolder)

Google My maps is a really useful option
recently my country ( sri lanka) faced to a major flood situation and group of volunteers volunteered to create a custom map using google my map feature to help and identification areas which needed our help. have a look 2017 Sri Lanka Flood Crisis Map
This is all very nice, and I created some and they were VERY cute.
They all disappeared from my map one day and took a layer with them.
I am trying to find an answer for how/why this happened so I can maybe do something different next time as they took hours to create.
I read old threads, but they pertain to firefox. I am using Chrome.
