@LuisRG Hi Luis, here is also a potential new twist on this initiative.

It would be cool to have an option to switch on and off various overlays with these beautiful new icons, e.g. museums, restaurants, gyms, hotels, parking, new homes, etc.

What do you think?

I always like to tell this story :slight_smile:
We were working, back in 2013-14, on our startup idea Monmaps, a tool which allowed to customize your maps and share them with friends.

We pitched in front of Google managers in Paris and… few months later, My Maps was released / upgraded :smiley:

Of course, it’s just a coincidence, or in a way it tells us our business idea was “right”, and I’m really happy now Google is pushing into that direction!

Hi @LuisRG

Genuinely appreciate this - I really want to create maps for Northern Ireland/Ireland - we have many great opportunities for days/weekends out - like Game of Thrones filming sites, historical sites and as you mention - 24 hours in / 48 hours in - for the cities - like Belfast and Dublin. This piece saves me a lot of trial & error - and gives me some very nice ideas :slight_smile:
