How to change pincode

How to change pincode of particular area. How google map find the pin code of that area. As I had changed the wrong pin code to the correct pin code but did not apply.

Kindly suggest.

Hi @cbk1

I guess such information is picked up from some official source.
Even then, you can use the “Send feedback” option and select “You opinion about Maps”. Then you can include the screenshot of the area for which you think the PIN code is incorrect and then suggest the necessary change.

Please check out the steps to send us feedback and make sure you include detailed information in your report by adding the correct information about the pin code of the area you’ve mentioned. Please be aware that once your report is sent out it may take some time before it gets reviewed and applied.

actual pincode is 382845, but google map show it as 382835 which is wrong. How can I change it?

Please use the feedback option in Google Maps. Provide as much info as you can. If the team can be convinced, the change will be implemented.
