@JuliusChoudhury I’m sorry if my opinion has caused you pain. When Map Maker was available we could enter several names of a road or poi e.g. primary, official, abbreviation, etc. And a road can be found by searching any of these names. But for now, we cannot add multiple names of these types. The primary and popular name is not wrong. It is just a matter of popularity. So think about the two names I have mentioned above, are they wrong? 95% people use these names and that is why they are kept as primary.

In any way, you can still report it by sending feedback to the team.

This is the first time I send a bug report to the map. Don’t know if this place is right?
This has already happened in part one.
However, there are a few streets near my workplace ,Golha Town, some of which are closed, all streets lead to the main street. when I check on the map.
In the appendix I attempted to mark the closed cases with the red line. There is also a bypass road along the main street, w

hich is the annex between the red lines.

Towns, roads and squares are elements of the Map Layer. Local Guides cannot edit directly that layer. Only Google Maps team can.

What we can do, for adding a road, is to report an error on Google Maps, through the “send a feedback” that you will find scrolling down your menu on Google Maps.

adding road and reporting a damage are two completely subject.

While you can quickly report a temporary road closure (or a car accident) through the buttons that appear on your navigation system while you are driving (but please stop your car for a minute for doing that), adding a road is a completely different procedure, that you can do later.

What we can do, for helping the team to add the missing road, is to report an error on Google Maps, through the “send a feedback” that you will find scrolling down your menu on Google Maps.

@Adi_Rudra , Practical question. But currently, there is no special quick feature that would allow you to add roads while you are driving. I believe Google is not encouraging you to do any map edits while driving as it is;

1. Very dangerous for you as well as others life and
2. Illegal to use phones while driving in many jurisdictions around the world.

The best way is to stop the vehicle safely on the road side and do the map edits. Drive safe and Happy mapping…!!!

The thing you can do is to send feedback and suggest what changes can be made on Google Maps:

Please follow these steps:

• Click the Google Maps App menu ☰

• Click Send feedback => choose Missing road or report Wrong information

• Follow the instructions and fill in the information as detailed as possible

• Click Submit

How to fix an incorrect route on the Google Maps?

My place named as Lahore Country & Sports Club at 1.5Km off Narowal Road actually the way to access Lahore Country & sports Club is from Narowal Road .when we come from lahore side there is a underpass situated at the narowal chowk the route takes us on that underpass and then turn to wrong side which route is very very difficult to access narowal road where as the accurate route is pass the underpass straight then U trun right 1 Km far for Narowal
