It’s very difficult to add roads or to report damage to the roads when we are solo driving and of course its illegal to use mobile while driving.

In lndia renaming of road intersections take place .When I try to upload the name I cannot upload it as the catagory of road junction is not available on Google maps.How can I resolve it.

Map elements that are in the map layer cannot be updated / edited by Local Guides. Road intersection is indeed part of the road (map) layer.
What we can do is to send a feedback to Report an error on the map

Local Guides cannot edit the road layer of Google Maps. This means that we cannot directly add roads, squares, or other elements of this part of the map, like villages, town, or modify the name of a town
Of course, we can Send a Feedback, for informing the Map Team about the error, or the missing element. For more information please read: Report an error on the map

Towns, roads and squares are elements of the Map Layer. Local Guides cannot edit that layer. Only Google Maps team can.
What we can do, for helping the team, is to report an error on Google Maps, through the “send a feedback” that you will find scrolling down your menu on Google Maps.

Hello all!
In a small city nearby there is two locations registered for the same business, which are an office within the urban center of the city and a farm, outside of it. However, the two locations are registered with the same address! The office seems to be in order, and the farm, which sits in a unnamed road, is registered as being in the street and number of the office, downtown.
So I went to solve this by editing the farm, but I cannot update it’s address since it’s in a unnamed road. I’ve tried using the plus code (JQ6C+GQ Sete Lagoas, MG), the coordinates but nothing of the like is acceptable.

Have you checked out the support pages for Google Maps? You can provide feedback directly to Google through Google Maps to inform them of the roads.
Check out this page. It has directions for all platforms (mobile and computer). Note that the updates are not immediate and generally takes some verification on Google’s end but this will help keep the information correct and updated!

Hey @Shirley ! Did just that and I’ll keep you posted on the solution the team comes up with. Hopefully there is a solution that we can apply once this type of issue appear again. Funny we can’t use LatLng or worse yet plus code to edit an address!

There is a road on my area that has an incorrect name.
How can I change the name?
The name of the road is given “Shimultoly Rd” but the actual name is “Shaheed Zaman Sharak” (Definition: Martyred Zaman Road).

@JuliusChoudhury Editing road is not currently available in Bangladesh. But you can report a missing road by following the instructions here.
In my opinion, the existing name looks fine. Because in Maps we prefer the primary name to be the popular one which people use in their daily life, not the official one. In Dhaka, you will see lots of roads are named in their popular ones like Greed Road, Sonargaon Road, etc. These roads have different official names which people do not use often.
