3 times I tried to report the same problem to google map using this way but, after some weeks, I recived always the same answer: “not applied”.
I can’t understand way! I live in Via Altopiano 45/9 in Sasso Marconi - Italy, but google map indicate my street with the name “Via della Sorgente”. It is an error!
People trying to follow the google map directions to come to my house, take the wrong way!!
How can I convince google map to change the informations about this street?
When you suggest an edit, it’s reviewed by either local operators, an automated system, or both to ensure the information is correct. What you can do in this situation is send feedback with a detailed explanation via Google Maps Help.
Please note that our program rules prohibit participating in the program with multiple accounts. Your issue might be due to having more than one account and we kindly ask you to close one account, thanks.
Lots of my changes at Google Maps (changes and added places) won’t be noticed by the program. There is no notification via email and no edit at the “My Contributions” section. It’s like to work for a black hole.
One possible reason been asked to sign in to a Google account although you already have signed in is due to the blocking of third-parties cookies on your browser.
Any chance that you have set your browser to block third-party cookies?
I already followed those instructions to report missing or misplaced roads on the map. Nothing changes, all of them are not applied. I tried different ways to report to see if something would change:
making a report telling this road is wrong, without any details
making a report telling this road is wrong, with more details about why it’s wrong
making a complete report with an actual picture of the map where I drew the actual road so whoever in charge of studying the report can see where the road exactly is
Despite of this, nothing happens. Everything goes into “Not applied”.
I know that problem. Lots of municipalities in the states of the former East Germany ( e.g. Thuringia) have reorganized to associated municipalities. So their street names have to be unique.
Lots of those renames, Google Maps did not notice, are so old that it is not possible to find municipalies official announcements as a proof.
The funny thing is that owners of a POI (‘Google My Business’) use that ‘new’ street name in the address but on Maps there’s the old street name. So Google-My-Business-employees, have a look if there’s a difference.

What the heck did the Googlers do on Tuesday with my edits?
In the morning everything was fine but later I saw that interminable list of ‘not applied’ edits in ‘My Contributions’.
First I thought Google has emptied the queue of pending edits but it’s look like a reasonably random rollback of about 150 edits, added places, renamed streets (some of them since 2012) and an added place with geotagged photos.
Same exact thing is still happening to me. I’ve been trying to edit wrong information on a specific business that has MY personal phone info listed (and I have no affiliation with them whatsoever) but every time the edit does not follow through or keeps coming back as not applied. I’ve been told to contact the business directly but they have not helped at all. It’s really frustrating. Yelp and Mapquest were able to help me change their info in a day for me. Google maps has not.
Scroll to the bottom of the home page and you should see a link, Ask now, to start your own thread. Provide the details of the business and the actual phone number of the business.
Hello. I have a problem. My Google maps on Android is grey. I tried to change the account and when I do this, everything looks normal. I think is something related to my account but I don’t know what to do.
