Just minutes from downtown Tampa, this diverse park offers a refuge from city life with its seven miles of nature trails and ample places to cool off in the water.
Hello @Rochote ,
Welcome to Connect!
Thank you for sharing these photos with us, the area looks very beautiful and green! Do you often go there? Are there any activities that could be done there?
Since this is your first post, please take some time to read the following article which will help you in the Community: How to choose a topic for your Connect post.

@Rochote Welcome to Connect and congrats on your first post! Nice info and photos! I’ve only been to Florida once: visited Panama City (friend lives there), Kissimmee (hello Disneyland!) and Miami. It was a while back when I was still studying and travelling on a shoestring budget. I’ve always wanted to re-visit, go to the Everglades and take a drive down to Key West! One day!
Anyway, unless it’s coastal water with a beach with hundreds of other folks, I’m petrified of the waters in Florida mainly because of crocodiles/alligators (apologies, I can’t remember which!). Is that a valid reaction?
Hmm… I actually only waded in the waters of Miami beach very briefly. I’m not a strong swimmer and being on my own I didn’t want to take any risks.
Anyway, looking forward to learning more about Florida!
Yes, my friend, Florida is beautiful especially for its beaches and climate ... but you are right in every pool there may be an alligator, if one day he comes to Tampa I will show him my beautiful city
Thanks for your support, the photos were upside down but the interface is a bit uncomfortable ... I tried several times to publish but it was impossible ...
