Hi @TravellerG you need a complete URL for an image file, the URL from Google Photos does not retrieve an image file so cannot be used with an tag. That URL will return an HTML file. I also got a 404 on your photos URL.

Dear Sir,

Can you give me a solution to LINK a photo using a URL, in html.

Just a line of “ACTUALLY WORKING html” to TO HELP US. Please.

Honestly, I pasted a working link only - lithium should be auto-filtering their url? that part is getting removed automatically (I can send you photo / screen shot if you need).

I have tried to paste this link in my post & not getting pasted; so I am splitting this into 2 part & trying to send (hope you will get it) - Please study it carefully for all… lithium id is getting removed automatically.

Kindly try to paste these 3 links together you will get my photo; Please study or pass it to our tech team.

OK @PaulPavlinovich

You told:

“you need a complete URL for an image file, the URL from Google Photos does not retrieve an image file so cannot be used with an tag. That URL will return an HTML file”.

Agreed, kindly advice a solution, pl

Can you check this photo @TravellerG , @PaulPavlinovich , as an example of photos embedded following the method suggested by @TraciC in her post?

It works fine, but you have to:

  1. Choose the photo that you want to use, and “share it”. This is needed for the photo to be visible publicly
  2. open the photo in google photo (open the photo, not get a link of the preview)
  3. right click over the photo, and copy the address of the image
  4. switch the editor in HTML mode
  5. paste it between the inverted commas in img src=“your address here

Thank you

Hello @TravellerG ,

Thanks for reaching out.

I believe @ErmesT and @PaulPavlinovich already gave you an answer.

I would like to ask you to avoid tagging Traci, but feel free to tag any of the Moderators mentioned in these posts:

Sure, dear @GeorgesHR , we will not tag Traci, hereafter.

Sorry, I did not know this… I am relatively new here…

I will keep this in mind in future, Thanks for your guidance,

Regards

PS:

Most of the suggested methods, for some reason did not work for me & my assistant (at least); however, the solution suggested by our dear @StephenAbraham works very well! God bless…
