Help Needed with Map Changes in Todd Mission, Texas

My private drive street name was recently changed by city counsel.

I have tried and tried for a week to get it updated on Google Maps. Numerous edit submissions. No success.

I did manage to get it corrected on Waze .

I can provide a copy of the City of Todd Mission, Texas resolution to validate information.

Would be so grateful for any help if someone is able to assist with changes.

Was Temple Trail. Now Woodland Park Lane. Street shortened to terminate 100 feet east of Sherri Court intersection.

Sherri Court and Sutton Place from Temple Trail down to Brentwood need be removed. Officially closed by city due to being private property.

Done to stop traffic issues with ppl thinking Temple Trail and Sutton Place connect to other Streets. They do not and have not in decades.

Hi, @Jwwren101

It seems you have tried this procedure: Add or fix a road , Am I right?

Sometimes it can be difficult to have a road name approved, if the change is recent. A better option can be to report the issue to the Google Maps Help Community for them to escalate the issue to the team.

Make sure, when you post in there, to add a link to an official Map where they can check the correct information.

In addition, local authorities can partner with Google Maps to improve your area’s geographic information on Google Maps, especially if the changes are big. Please read Get started with Geo Data Upload . You can share the link in your council, for them to upload the correct information in Google Maps.

As you wrote in Idea Exchange, I also wants to let you know that we have a specific area (How Tos) where we report our issues. I am tagging @Giu_DiB to move your post in the correct part of Connect.
