This is my first year actually to be recognized at a global level
I am very excited about this Guiding star event. As I said i am new in this local guide locality,so can anyone tell me what is the milestone to reach to get recognized in this December 7’s event??
“Welcome to Connect! If this is your first visit, you’ve come to the right place. This post will serve as a guide for everything you need to know about contributing content and engaging with the Local Guides community on Connect” . This is the first of the information that you will find in “Your guide to Connect” , the introductory Guide of the community. In there you will find all the necessary information to know how to better contribute in here.
I do not want to give you a delusion. On December 7 Google will announce the name of the Guiding Stars 2022. The process starts from a nomination from other Local Guides, and it takes months of preparation. I know this very well, because I am one of the 50 Guiding Stars 2021. To know more about them you can see their profile and what Google wrote about everyone of them clicking on the following links:
I am sure their story and the way they make outstanding contributions can inspire you and many others. Make sure to follow the presentation online on December 7
Also make sure to remove all the violations in your photos in Google Maps. This will not help you to be recognized. On the contrary, contributing in such way is a fast track for being banned.
Good luck

Just to let you know, I am marking @ErmesT 's reply as a solution, so other Local Guides can refer to it. The purpose of this feature is to help Local Guides find answers when searching on Connect. Please take a look at How do I mark comments as solutions? article.
I’ve also moved your post to How-tos. Feel free to check it out.
P.S.: @ErmesT , I just wanted to ask you if you can edit your reply as there is a small typo. Can you please change “September 7” with “December 7”? : ) Thank you.
