I even have not received the gift as promised by Google local guide for being a level 5 guide

I redeemed the reward (pair of socks) on 11-Apr-21. It is one month and 8 days, I still have not received any information regarding its shipment status. Can anyone in this forum please let me know where I should track the status or when I would probably be receiving the reward?

The Local Guides program is a voluntary program and is all about helping each other with our contributions. There are some rewards, given from time to time as a ‘‘thank you’’ from Google for your quality contributions, however, there isn’t a promised reward for participating or reaching a certain level or views. You can read more about it in this article. I also recommend that you check this discussion where you will find some of the reasons for being a Local Guide.

To maximize your chances of being eligible for a future reward opportunity, continue to add high quality contributions to Google Maps and make sure to update your email preferences.

I still have not received the gift and I have now started believing that I will not get it. I tried reaching the team thrice and they tried to send the package trice. As they said over mail, last time the package was sent on 27-AUG-2021 (8 weeks back) and I have no idea where it is now.

Please check the screenshot below. This one is when I applied to redeem it one day post getting the mail (10-APR-2021). Since then, I still have not received the package. I tried reaching you over mail thrice, and you attempted to resend it thrice. It has already been 8 weeks, I am still waiting to get it. It was assured over the mail that I got this reward and there is no mention that Google may withdraw from its promise anytime later.

I see that our team already contacted you regarding your missing reward. Since the replacement was sent in the end of August and there could be some additional delays due to the current situation, I kindly ask you to wait another 5-6 business day and reach out again if you haven’t received it by then. Thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter.

@Bobiisha I redeemed it on October 23rd, 2021 and I received a confirmation email of item being shipped on October 25th, with a tracking ID, that isn’t helping me. I redeemed it for a tote bag.

Usually the delivery can take up to 6 weeks. However, due to the current situation there could be some delays as well. This means that you reward should be on it’s way to you! I kindly ask you to wait 2 more weeks and reach out again if you haven’t received it by then. Thank you for patience and understanding regarding this matter.
