Today, I noticed something new on Local Guides Connect, and I must say—I really like this change! 
Previously, we had a simple Like option for showing our appreciation for a post. But now, Local Guides Connect has introduced seven different reaction options, giving us more ways to express how a post makes us feel. 
What caught my attention even more was that my previous Likes have now been converted into Love reactions.
And honestly, I really love that!
A simple Like could say “I liked this post,” but having different reactions gives us an opportunity to express ourselves a little better. Whether we want to show Love, Like, Laughter, Surprise, a Wave, Celebration, or a warm Hug, there is now a reaction for the moment.
From Like to Reactions
For me, this is more than just a change in icons. It creates a more personal connection between the person and the post.
We have witnessed many changes and improvements on Local Guides Connect while celebrating its 10th anniversary, and this is another meaningful change that shows the celebration continues! 
Thank you to the Local Guides Connect technical team for continuing to improve the community experience and giving us more ways to interact with one another.
