We tried akki roti with kurma and chutneys and peanut Podi. Quite a filling scrumptious platter. Akki roti was crispy. Kurma was average on flavours.
Special benne dosa with potato toppings was Average in taste and so was the sambhar. Coconut chutney tasted a bit old and they replaced it with fresh one.
Filter coffee was ok. Masala tea was quite thick & strong.
Thank you @Shalz for sharing such amazing post with awesome pictures. Kindly add the Google Maps location link of this restaurant to your post so that it will be helpful for others to locate this restaurant easily. Have a nice day.
I got it what happened @Shalz the link you have just attached in your post is copied from the Google search. You need to copy the link from the listing on Google Maps app. For example for this restaurant, this is the link: Google Maps
I think @Shalz you should do a screen recording that exactly what steps you’re doing as it’s working fine from my end even for the resturant that you have mentioned. I think then it’ll be easy for us to troubleshoot this.
Sounds like a lovely experience dear @Shalz Authentic South Indian flavours with friendly service always make a meal memorable. Thanks for sharing this detailed review
That’s one intresting resturant which I will add to my go-to list @Shalz . Filter coffee with dosa seems delicious and yummy .
By the way nice logo of restaurant. In Malayalam, that word starts with “േ” and in english it starts with “G” and they beautifully mixed that two languages. But I don’t know why they put “സ” in the end of the word and when we read that, it reads as “Gokulasa”.
@Rahul001 thank you so much for your appreciation and kind words.. that’s an interesting observation and I had no clue about this mixing of two languages ..maybe could check with them the next I visit
The “Gokulam” original brand is from Kerala, dear @Shalz
Of course, they’re a big network in chit-fund, education and other fields.
Good photos and videos, dear friend…
Nice description also…
Your feedback can help many others…
Thanks for sharing
@TravellerG thank you for your appreciation and kind words
I think both are different entities from what I understand..not sure though ..this is what is mentioned online
The owner of the Gokulam Janpath restaurant is likely Meghna and Prerna Agarwal, who are behind the new authentic South Indian restaurant located there. Gokulam Gopalan is the founder of the “Sree Gokulam” group of companies, which is a separate and much larger entity, but he is not the owner of the Janpath restaurant
Gokulam Gopalan is the founder and chairman of the “Sree Gokulam” conglomerate, which is involved in various sectors like finance, hospitality, and healthcare, but not the Janpath restaurant.
